The Kent Family Magic Circus is undergoing it's largest expansion ever. 2011 will be our transition year with the addition of a trapeze and dance lyra, the addition of the tight rope, a zip line is added to Miles' Bull Whip routine, new illusions, new stunts, and more. July 23, 2011. We have made the Newspapers and local TV at every event and veue we have performed at this summer. We made state-wide news in CT on CT Sytle: Vaudeville meets Circus! Our 210 season Has been a record year on so many levels. we are, under way with designs and rehearsals for 2011 which will include more circus arts including the tight rope, the trapeze, more musical numbers, more balancing, new illusions, and new cuteness like never before seen. Titus our disable son will be back with a levitation ( He had been the only non-performing child in the show until this past season. Up to 2010 Titus' special needs (he can't talk and has no fine-motor control due to a mitochondrial disorder and his means of locomotion is a wheelchair) had kept him at home with his mom. As he has grown older we have realized it is time to figure a way to get him in the show. He loves the show and he has been a hit this past season making a dove and bunny appear. So we are building a bigger routine around him. We also be doing a tribute to the Seven Little Foys, a Salute to Harry Blackstone Jr, and a couple of other special treats we can't expose right now. Book early as many dates in April May, June, July, August, September and October of 2011 have already been reserved. We do have a 977% rebook-recall rate. The Kent Family is a real family made up of seven very talented individuals (all real family members) performing an exciting illusion-based variety show with juggling, fire-eating, bull whip tricks, fire-whip, escapes, unicyling, side-show stunts, bunnies, doves, and a trained chicken, the world's youngest mind-reader, with more and more added all the time. Magic Mouse is here too and he is a really cool 7' mouse who meets and greets and is very photogenic.He joins Max the Bunny and Sir Galehad the Sword fighting Lion. Kent Family Draws News and Publicity TV and Newspaper Coverage at Every Event Just about every fair and festival the Kent Family Magic Circus has performed at has lured the press. It seems the angle of a real family performing together while traveling the country is a newsworthy one. At least that has been the focus of the press in their stories while becoming a big publicity push for the fair. Both the written press and television has covered the Kents in performance. For example in covering the 2009 Glenn County Fair In California the Orland Press Register when writing about the fair had the following to say," Fo 9-year-old Jordan Hilstad of Orland, the Kent Family Magic Circus Show was the highlight of the whole week. Jordan was most impressed by magician Victor Kent's ability to shoot 10-foot balls of fire from his mouth. "'That was so cool, just cool, really cool', Jordan said. The Kent Family magic Circus show has played the Glenn County Fair every year for more than a decade (factually wrong..we've played it about 5 times over the past 8 years). 'This is real fire',Kent told the assembled crowd Sunday.
